Bunq integration
Please, read through this page to find out how to connect Declaree with Bunq, manage cards, find out more about transactions and their justifications, the process of ordering cards and Bunq’s pricing.
1. Connecting Declaree to Bunq
Connecting to Bunq is easy. When you are in Declaree Settings, go to Connections and click on Bunq. Here, the steps are explained how you can retrieve your Bunq API key that you need to connect to Bunq. If you have entered the API key and click on 'connect', you will directly see an overview of your existing Bunq cards. You can select which cards you want to interface with Declaree, and which employee possesses which cards. When you are done you can click on 'save'.
2. Bunq card management
Within Declaree Settings > Payment Methods, you can manage all your Bunq cards, assign these to employees, and also request new Bunq cards.
3. Bunq realtime transactions & justification of transactions
Each employee that is assigned a Bunq card will receive realtime transactions in their account. If the employees use the Declaree mobile app, they also will receive a realtime push notification of each transaction so they are instantly notified whenever they have to justify a transaction.
When a transaction is delivered to the employee, the most important (base) information is already pre-filled for this transaction: date, currency, amount, merchant, which card was used. Other information which employee has to input to justify any transaction is up to your internal policy, but in general this is: reason for the expense, category, VAT, project (if applicable).
4. Ordering new Bunq cards and distributing these to your employee(s)
It is easy to order new Bunq cards directly from inside Declaree. When you are in Declaree Settings > Payment methods, click in the top right on 'order new card'.
