Clearing the App Cache on Android
If the Declaree app malfunctions due to corrupted data, clearing its storage and cache can often resolve the issue. Simply uninstalling the app does not delete its data: this method fully resets the app to its original “factory settings.”
Before clearing storage, make sure all your expenses and reports are synchronized with Declaree. Unsynced data will be lost permanently.
What Happens When You Clear App Storage
Clearing an app’s storage deletes all locally saved data, including:
Login details.
Unsynchronized expenses and reports.
Passcode.
👉 Note: Expenses, reports, and other data already synchronized with Declaree remain unaffected.
Steps to Clear App Storage and Cache
Open the Settings app on your Android device.
Tap Apps or Applications (the name may vary depending on your device).
Search for and select the Declaree app.
Tap Storage & cache.
Tap Clear storage, then confirm.
💡 Tip: After clearing storage, reopen the Declaree app and log in again with your credentials.
iOS does not provide a direct option to clear an app’s cache or storage from the settings. To reset the Declaree app, simply delete it from your device and reinstall it from the App Store.
