The Datadump Module
The Datadump module allows organizations to export large sets of expenses for a selected time frame, up to one year per export. You can receive this export either by email or via a secure SFTP transfer.
Step 1: Select a Time Frame
Choose the period for which you want to export expenses.
The maximum time frame per export is one year.
If your expenses cover more than one year, create multiple datadumps for different periods.
Step 2: Choose Export Delivery Method
You have two options for receiving the datadump:
1. Email Delivery
The export archive will be sent to your organization’s billing email address (Configuration → Profile → Billing Email).
A password will be generated and shown in your browser window at the time of export.
You’ll need this password to open the exported archive.
2. SFTP Delivery
If the Export to SFTP option is enabled, the export archive will be placed in your organization’s /out/ folder on the Declaree FTP server.

Best Practice
💡 Tip: Use the SFTP option for recurring, large-scale exports to accounting or reporting systems. For occasional or one-off exports, the email option is often the simplest.
