This guide explains how to connect Declaree to Bunq, manage cards, view transactions and justifications, order new cards, and access Bunq’s pricing information.
Step 1. Connect Declaree to Bunq
Connecting Declaree to Bunq is straightforward:

Go to Configuration in Declaree.

Navigate to Connections and select Bunq.

Follow the instructions to retrieve your Bunq API key.

Enter the API key in Declaree and click Connect.
Once connected, you will see an overview of your existing Bunq cards. You can:

Select which cards to link to Declaree.

Assign cards to employees.
Click Save when you’re done.
Step 2. Manage Bunq Cards
You can manage all Bunq cards in Configuration > Payment Methods. From here, you can:

Assign cards to employees.

Request new Bunq cards.
Step 3. Real-Time Transactions and Justifications
Employees assigned a Bunq card will see real-time transactions in their Declaree account. If they use the Declaree mobile app, they’ll also receive push notifications for each transaction.
Each transaction includes pre-filled details such as:

Date
-
Currency
-
Amount
-
Merchant
-
Card used
Employees must complete any additional fields required by your internal policy, such as:

Expense reason
-
Category
-
VAT
-
Project (if applicable)
Step 4. Order New Bunq Cards
To order new cards:

Go to Configuration > Payment Methods.

Click Order New Card in the top-right corner.
